The Team
Meet the team at Acquila Equestrian
At Acquila Equestrian we are extremely proud of our highly skilled and dedicated personnel. Backing up our full-time staff we have weekly visits from our equestrian physiotherapist, fortnightly visits from our chiropractor and we also have the unusual advantage of a resident equine massage therapist. We have two farriers who each attend the farm once a week, whilst British team vet, Liz Brown, also visits once a month.
Caroline:
Pronounced Carolyn, Caroline originally worked for Lucy’s parents as a rider and first-rate producer of young horses. She has been based with the Wiegersmas for over 30 years now and more recently has concentrated her talents on training young riders. Caroline has now produced 8 members of British and Irish Junior, Young Rider and Senior squads, including Lucy, who she’s trained since her pony club days.
